Profile

Neo Christopher Chung crosses disciplines with an interest in data and machine culture. Through new media installations and interventions, he examines and reveals emergent aesthetics of systems with usage of software and algorithms, electronic wastes and microcontrollers, audio-visual media, and spatial practices. His recent works focus on impacts of artificial intelligence and cybernetics, balancing the light-heartedness of the zeitgeist and the critical analysis of the contemporary society. At the University of Warsaw, he leads a computational biology and machine learning research group.
